Suzanne Roski
Suzanne Roski has nearly 40 years of professional experience with 25 of it providing troubled company, litigation, forensic investigation, and valuation consulting. She has assisted debtors, secured lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, individual creditors, and trustees in Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy cases. Suzanne has also served as a fiduciary in various roles including Chief Restructuring Officer, Liquidating Trustee, and Receiver. Prior to consulting, she held executive positions in public and private companies primarily in operating finance and controller roles.
Suzanne is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and member of the Turnaround Management Association. She is a member, former board member, and Distinguished Fellow of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors. She volunteers with the Credit Abuse Resistance Education program. Suzanne serves on the board of Boots to Suits, a not-for-profit organization that assists military personnel transition to civilian careers.
Representative Experience
- Financial Advisor to Chapter 7 Trustee of LeClair Ryan, a national law firm. Providing investigative and litigation support services in connection with Chapter 5 recovery actions.
- CRO, President, and Treasurer for manufacturer of saltwater batteries, Aquion Energy. Wound down operations, led company through Chapter 11, consummated 363 sale, negotiated class action WARN settlement, and adjudicated all claims. Serves as Liquidation Trustee for the post-confirmation trust.
- Receiver for two skilled nursing homes and an assisted living facility. Successfully transferred facilities per Change of Ownership agreements to new operator with no delay in or loss of third-party payor reimbursements or decline in resident care.
- Financial Advisor to Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors for Nine West, a retailer and wholesaler of footwear, clothing, and accessories. Assisted committee by providing forensic, consulting, and litigation support services related to an LBO transaction which was the subject of a fraudulent conveyance recovery action.
- Financial Advisor and Expert to Defendant in Fraudulent Transfer matter. Issues include reasonably equivalent value, solvency, and valuation.
